heart, speech, this–reflections

heart, speech, this is a book of poetry by Gina Rae Foster, published by Atropos Press. The book explores themes of love, exile, ambiguous loss, alienation, through re-tellings of Greek myths and fairy tales and contemporary explorations of emotional authenticity through the interplay between body and thought. The poems play with visual and auditory patterns that extend and retract expectations of form and voice.
